Scenic symbol meditation


·         Relax your body as before.

·         Close your eyes and focus your mind’s eye on a chosen symbol or scene which conjures up an image of success or a feeling of peace and relaxation. (e.g. a handshake, a goal being scored, a sunset on the beach or the face of someone you admire immensely.)

·         Use your imagination to examine your scenic symbol in minute detail. Try to recall the impression it made on each of your senses.

Be aware of the positive feeling that has been recreated within your body. Every time a thought comes into you head, refocus your mind’s eye on the symbol again.
