Identify bad habits


Be aware of habits such as sighing, yawning and coughing. All these further lower blood carbon dioxide levels and suppress them with a swallow or by exhaling through pursed lips.

1.      Inhale, hold to the count of five.

2.      Very slowly exhale.

3.      Hold to the count of five.

4.      Resume correct abdominal breathing.
